The biggest design challenge was balance — being warm without being naive, playful without losing credibility. Mindfulness and emotional wellness content can easily tip into the overly clinical or the overly sweet. With Held, the goal was to sit right in between — where cherry red adds a pulse of energy, handwritten fonts invite you in, and sage green keeps everything grounded and breathable.
Finding the line between warmth and weight. Held needed to feel friendly — but never fragile.

Designing Held was a reminder that visual language carries emotion before words even land. A color can make someone exhale. A font can make someone feel seen. Every soft curve and handwritten stroke in this identity was chosen to say — you belong here. That, for me, is what the best design does. It holds people before they even read a word.
Color, type, mood — all working together to create one feeling. You are welcome here. You are held.
Next projects.
